Delivery of Clematis

As a guide, delivery is from June onwards. However, all orders will be acknowledged on receipt, with confirmed delivery dates.

Pruning Clematis

Pruning Clematis is not as complicated as it is often made out to be. But you do need to know which Clematis Group a particular plant belongs to before you set to work with the pruners.

There are three Clematis Groups, and these are briefly summarised below. Click on the Group titles to see full instructions with illustrations. The Complete Pruning Guide is also available as a single document.

Group 1 - Flowers January to May - Prune After Flowering.
Group 2 - Flowers May to June - Prune Early Spring.
Group 3 - Flowers July to October - Prune Early Spring.
