Deep purple velvety standards and falls so dark it looks almost black. These iris are outstanding for their unusual colour, design and sturdy, vigorous growth habit. They are hardy, disease and drought-resistant plants. Long blooming in late spring and early summer with handsome, green, sword-like foliage. They enjoy full or part sun and well-drained soil.
